Susan West ACA - Principal
Experience/specialisms: Sue earned her qualification in Deloitte's Birmingham Office, and stayed on after qualifying. Once the children reached school age Sue started WEST - Chartered Accountants from home in 1989. From there she has built the practice to over 500 clients on a foundation of technical excellence and first rate customer service.
With a degree in Maths, when it comes to the numbers, Sue is very rarely wrong!
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) 1st Class in Maths at University of East Anglia. Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
Hobbies: Crosswords, jigsaws, Walking, canal-boating, children and grand-children.
Jane West AAT MICB PM.Dip Certified Xero Advisor
Jane is responsible for West's Payroll Department that came in great demand during the Covid pandemic where she provided her services to clients at no extra cost. She also provides client bookkeeping services inclusive of VAT submissions specialising in Xero software for which she is a Certified Advisor.
Qualifications: Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians. Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
Hobbies: Baking and volunteering at her kids' school. Jane can also be found running with local group RLAG (Run Like A Girl).
Daisy Atherton AAT B.Ed(Hons)
As a qualified AAT Accountant Daisy is now moving on to becoming a tax specialist, so she has a few exams to go through yet as she works towards membership of the Institute of Tax. She is also responsible for the Anti-Money Laundering procedures in the office as well as advising on our use of social media.
Qualifications:AAT and B.Ed 2.1 degree in Primary Education
Hobbies: When not watching The Greatest Showman, she enjoys baking, cake decorating, reading and being an avid Harry Potter fan.
Sam Titman
Sam is learning the trade through his apprenticeship with the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Already officially "part qualified" it is only the final exams that lie between him and achieving full qualification as an ACA.
HobbiesAn avid supporter of Coventry City he can often be seen dreaming of promotion, whilst at the same time fearing relegation. He also enjoys going to the gym, playing football and exercising the family dog
Ben Osborne BSc MSc
With a BSC in Environmental Geoscience, and an MSc in Soils and Environmental Pollution, Ben has a number of years literally working "in the field". He is now bringing his training and experience of the wider world to help him speedily work towards qualifying with the Institute of Certified Accountants.
Hobbies:Watching football (a Chelsea fan), playing six-a-side football, going to the gym and walking the dog.
